Dalla frazione Belvedere di Fobello si segue il percorso GTA che attraversa Alpe Res e si immette in una boscaglia di abeti bianchi e faggi. Il sentiero attraversa un tratto pianeggiante tra roccette sino a Roncaccio, per poi risalire sino ad incontrare la carozzabile per Rimella. Superati alcuni alpeggi e valicata la Bocchetta di Campello Monti si scende a Campello Monti.
